About Me

I have been a licensed psychologist in Georgia since 1999. Originally from New York State, I earned a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College (Massachusetts) and a doctorate from the State University of New York, at Albany. Over the years, I trained in several settings: a university counseling center; an urban psychological services center; a career development center; a veterans affairs hospital and several inpatient psychiatric hospitals.

I completed an APA accredited internship in 1997 at the Ulster County Health Department in upstate New York, then moved to Atlanta to for a post doctoral fellowship in neuropsychological assessment at Georgia State University.

For several years, I worked as the director of a university assessment clinic, teaching undergraduate and graduate students, advocating for students with disabilities, and conducting neuropsychological evaluations. I also served the University System of Georgia by evaluating neuropsychological evaluations conducted by other practitioners.

I have been affiliated with Emory Counseling and Consultation for several years and am a member in good standing of the American Psychological Association and the Georgia Psychological Association. I am licensed to practice in New York, Massachusetts and Georgia. My GA license number is PSY2360.
